Residential Camps

These camps offer training in a residential format.

Typical Overnight Camp Schedule

 

Day 1: Afternoon (1 PM to 3 PM)

​

  • Set Position

  • Basic Handling: Contour Catch; Basket Catch; Front Smothering

  • Footwork Prior to Shot / 'When to Get Set'

  • Footwork After Shot / First-step Explosiveness

Day 1: Evening (6 PM to 8 PM)

​​

  • Footwork into a Dive / Angle of Power-Step / Push-Off 

  • Shuffle to a Dive; Cross-Step to a Dive

  • Low Diving Technique ('When to Parry')

  • High Diving Technique ('Top-Hand' Saves)

  • Shot-Stopping Drills

​

Day 2: Morning (8:30 AM to 10:30 AM)

​

  • Breakaways (recent and classic techniques)

  • Recovering and Reloading

  • Close-Range Shots / Reaction Saves

​

Day 2: Afternoon (1 PM to 3 PM)

​

  • Video Analysis / Classroom Work

  • Angle Play

  • Set Pieces / Setting Walls

  • Communication / Organizing the Defense

  • Penalty Kicks

​

Day 2: Evening (6 PM to 8 PM)

​

  • Crosses / Controlling the Penalty Area

  • '3-Goal' Situations / 'Cut-Backs'

  • Drop Step / 'Back-to-Bar' Saves / Tipping Over the Goal

  • Boxing (one and two hands)

​

Day 3: Morning (8:30 AM to 10:30 AM)

​

  • Pre-Game Warm-up Activities

  • Controlling the Defensive Half by Playing off the Line

  • Playing With Feet Outside the Penalty Area

  • Dealing with Back Passes

  • Goalkeeper Fitness Activities / Explosiveness Training

​

Day 3: Afternoon (1 PM to 3 PM)

​

  • Distribution (Goal Kicks, Throws, Punts, Drop-Kicks) 

  • Controlling Tempo of the Game 

  • Starting the Counter-Attack

  • Goalkeeper Competitions / Goalie Wars
